Save The Date - March 29th & 30th
It’s time for our next Qareers Virtual Fair!
Building Queer and Trans Career Resilience
[Français]
QVF is a 2-day fully virtual event, open to all QTs across Canada, focused on hiring and career development for both early-career and experienced professionals.
We know that with so much uncertainty in the world today that building community resilience and adaptability is key, and we are excited to bring all of you QTs together to connect, learn and network with each other and our amazing sponsors that are committed to supporting and creating great opportunities.
Through informative and inspiring keynotes, facilitated peer groups, and themed workshops, we will guide you through learning, networking, and connections to new opportunities.
This Year
We’ve listened to the community, and we are changing things up a bit with each day focusing on one of our key audiences. Day 1 will focus on those advancing their careers in tech (professionals with 3+ years experience) and Day 2 will focus on those looking to access their first roles in tech or are early in their professional career (less than 3 years experience).
In addition to the great hiring opportunities from our partners and keynotes, we are introducing peer groups on Day 1, where queer professionals in similar roles can share their experience and knowledge in a facilitated, supportive and safe space.
On Day 2, we will host expert-led workshops focused on unlocking opportunities for early-career or career-transitioning QTs.
We invite you to join us from wherever you may be at whatever stage in your career you are and to be sure to come as you are and share your queer power with us!
THE EVENT TECHNOLOGY
QueerTech will host our Qareers Virtual Fair on the event platform, Brella.io. It will provide participants and partners with the best possible networking experience by matching them with each other based on job sector, skills, interests, and other preferences. The easy-to-use matchmaking technology allows participants and partners to view their recommended matches, connect with others via private messages, and book private meetings before and during the events.
We will email access instructions to those that have RSVP’d for this event beginning on March 28. To make sure you receive these instructions, be sure to:
- Use a valid email address when you RSVP
- Make sure the “Send me email updates” is checked on the RSVP form
- Add QueerTech to your contacts with the email [email protected]
Thank you to our Sponsors and Partners
