Chantale was introduced to the world of tech at a young age, from watching her father fix computers for friends and family. She became interested in development ever since copying code and running her first applet (a Johnny Castaway screensaver) from a children's magazine. She did her studies in Computing Science at Algonquin College (Ottawa, ON), and has worked many different roles in tech. Some of those include: Business Application Support Officer for the House of Commons, developer for mobile games publisher-developer Magmic, and Education Manager for Lighthouse Labs.

Today, Chantale is a Product and Operations Manager for Locketgo, a smart locker and software startup in Montreal. When she's not reviewing user experience or dispatching for installations, in her downtime, Chantale puts on events for a Women, work, and whisky Meetup group and moonlights as a house music DJ.
