Speakers:

Jeffrey Wu

Jeffrey Wu is the President & Financial Planner (Pl. Fin) at Hao Wu Financial Solutions Inc. under the Sun Life banner. Jeffrey works with business owners and professionals to help them protect their assets, accumulate wealth, support their families, and leave a lasting legacy. Jeffrey is particularly passionate about complex retirement and estate cases and everything related to tax optimization.

Originally from Beijing, China, Jeffrey subsequently studied in London, UK before completing his bachelor’s degree at McGill University in Montreal, QC. His international background and empathetic personality help him immensely when working with diverse clienteles, especially with immigrants and LGBTQIA2+ community members.

Jeffrey is the Vice President of the McGill University Young Alumni board and is also a member of the Sun Life National Advisory Council.

 

Fernanda Cacho

Originally from Mexico, Fernanda went to university in Mexico City and did her graduate studies in leadership and administration in Australia. She started to work in the sales industry early, helping her parents with their real estate business. Then, she changed her career path into financial services over six years ago and worked in four different countries. Travelling, discovering new cultures, playing sports, and outdoor activities are her passions.

With her diverse knowledge and her expertise in early stage professional planning needs, Fernanda loves helping young professionals manage their cash flows and optimize their asset allocations. Her ultimate goal is to help people achieve their goals.

And of course, Fernanda is fully trilingual in English, French, and Spanish.

 

Julien Valat

Arrived from France in 2010 with an Engineering degree in Food Processing, Julien is a proud active member of the Montreal LGBT community and an avid traveller. Among others, he supports newcomers, young graduates and self-employed workers to help them relieve financial stress.

His mission? Collaborating with you to understand your situation and your projects, help you plan your savings, protect those savings against unforeseeable events and financially prepare your future in order to reach your goals and keep your options open. 

Since 2020, Julien has the title of "Responsible Investments Specialist" (RIS)
