PrideHacks est le hackathon annuel de QueerTech réunissant des personnes de l'écosystème technologique de Montréal pour concevoir, construire et mettre en œuvre des solutions technologiques pour les organisations à but non lucratif qui desservent la communauté 2SLGBTQ+.

PrideHacks est une excellente occasion d'aider des organisations à but non lucratif incroyables et de faire une différence pour les communautés vulnérables, tout en s'amusant à rencontrer d'autres personnes et à réseauter.

PrideHacks est un environnement inclusif, que vous soyez un allié/hétéro ou 2SLGBTQ+ - tous les genres et identités sexuelles sont les bienvenus, et nous veillerons à ce que tout le monde se sente chez lui.

Voici à quoi s'attendre lors de l'événement :

• REMARQUE : L'HEURE DU HACKATHON A CHANGÉ. LES PORTES OUVRIRONT CHEZ PWC CANADA À 17 h 30 VENDREDI.
• Nous avons sept incroyables organisations à but non lucratif que nous soutiendrons à PrideHacks 2022 - Montréal - apprenez-en plus à leur sujet ici.
• Si vous n'avez pas encore présélectionné votre projet, vous pouvez le faire ici.
• Nous ferons également des suggestions sur le projet qui pourrait vous convenir, mais en fin de compte, le choix vous appartient !
• Les portes ouvriront chez PwC Canada à 17h30. Vous voudrez avoir votre code QR Eventbrite prêt.
• La sélection des équipes commencera vers 18h30.
• Nous aurons des rafraîchissements légers et des boissons non alcoolisées tout au long de la soirée et le lendemain pour le plaisir de tous.
• Nous nous attendons à ce qu'environ 60 QT se joignent à nous lors de l'événement. 
• Le port du masque est encouragé, mais pas obligatoire.

À votre arrivée chez PwC Canada :

1. Prenez l'ascenseur jusqu'au 25ème étage.
2. Un bénévole QueerTech vous enregistrera avec le code QR Eventbrite.
3. Dirigez-vous vers le tableau des étiquettes de nom pour remplir une étiquette de nom et découvrez quel projet nous vous avons suggéré.
4. Rendez-vous dans la zone principale pour les remarques d'ouverture et préparez-vous à vous mettre au travail !

CHOSES À NOTER SUR L'ÉVÉNEMENT :

L'espace est limité, alors assurez-vous de RSVP pour cet événement et si votre horaire change, assurez-vous de libérer votre place. L'admission se fera selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi.

Nous suivrons les recommandations COVID actuelles pour la santé publique du Québec :

• Les coordonnées seront requises à l'entrée à des fins de recherche des contacts
• Veuillez rester à la maison si vous avez été exposé au COVID ou si vous ressentez des symptômes
• Un désinfectant pour les mains sera fourni à l'entrée
• Veuillez utiliser votre meilleur jugement et être prévenant envers tous ceux qui vous entourent
• Pour tout aménagement d'accessibilité, veuillez nous contacter à l'avance.

Join us for the 6th edition of PrideHacks taking place on the first weekend of Pride Montreal 2022!

PrideHacks is QueerTech’s annual hackathon bringing together people from Montreal’s tech ecosystem to design, build and implement technology solutions for nonprofit organizations that serve the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

PrideHacks is a great opportunity to help some amazing non-profits and to make a difference to vulnerable communities, while at the same time having fun meeting other people, and networking.

PrideHacks is an inclusive environment, whether you are an Ally/Straight or 2SLGBTQ+ - all genders and sexual identities are welcome, and we will be sure to make everyone feel at home.

We will shortly be sharing more information about the AGENDA, our PARTNERS and PROJECTS. Be sure to follow us on Facebook or check the PrideHacks website to stay up to date on the latest information.

HELP US BUILD TECHNOLOGY FOR A STRONGER COMMUNITY

Here's what to expect at the event: 

• NOTE: THE TIME OF THE HACKATHON HAS CHANGED. DOORS WILL OPEN AT PWC CANADA AT 5:30 PM ON FRIDAY. 
• We have seven amazing nonprofits that we will be supporting at PrideHacks 2022 - Montreal - learn more about them here. 
• If you haven't pre-selected your project yet, you can do so here. 
• We will also be making suggestions for which project might be a fit for you, but ultimately the choice is yours! 
• Doors will open at PwC Canada at 5:30 PM. You will want to have your Eventbrite QR Code ready. 
• Team selection will begin at approximately 6:30 PM. 
• We will have some light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the evening and the following day for all to enjoy. 
• We are expecting approximately 60 QTs to join us at the event
• Wearing a mask is encouraged, but not required.

Upon arrival at PwC Canada: 

1. Take the elevator to the 25th floor. 
2. A QueerTech volunteer will check you in with the Eventbrite QR Code.
3. Head to the name tag table to fill out a name tag and learn which project we have suggested for you. 
4. Head into the main area for the opening remarks and get ready to get to work! 

THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT THE EVENT:

Space is limited so please be sure to RSVP for this event and if your schedule changes, be sure to release your spot. Admittance will be on a first come first serve basis.

We will be following current COVID recommendations for Quebec public health:

• Contact information will be required upon entry for contact tracing purposes
• Please stay home if you have been exposed to COVID or are feeling any symptoms
• Hand sanitizer will provided upon entry
• Please use your best judgements and be considerate of all those around you

Your duty of confidentiality is perpetual; it begins as soon as you view or access confidential or personal information and shall subsist even after PrideHacks 2022 has ended and/or even if you only participate for part of it. If you breach this duty of confidentiality, QueerTech shall not be responsible.

You also agree that any intellectual property rights in the works that you create during PrideHacks 2022 shall be the sole property of QueerTech, which agrees to provide a licence for their use that is free of charge to the organizations participating in PrideHacks 2022.
